a Letter from

The Moores

Thank you so much for visiting our Burn Culture website! Whether you are currently a part of our kingdom family, or are considering joining us for one of our Burn Culture events, it means so much to us to have you a part of this new, exciting journey we are on with the Lord.

We have received specific instructions from the Lord concerning our assignment for the city of Tifton, Georgia, and have already fallen in love with the people in the friendly city! We passionately desire to see revival come to our city, and are carrying a mandate from God to establish a culture of burning hearts that advance God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven! Our hearts are overflowing with vision, and we are full of expectation with high hopes of seeing countless lives transformed through the power of Jesus Christ as we seek to advance God’s kingdom together!

We believe people are earnestly seeking to find a family of like minded believers who they can simply do life with, a passionate group of people who love Jesus and desire to make him known. A community of people to run with, and a place where they can belong. Deep on the inside of each of us lies a longing in the depths of our hearts for relationship, connection, and community. It’s the way God made us, and it’s our sincere prayer that Burn Culture can become a place for you and your family to call home in the days ahead.

Every single person that’s a part of our kingdom family matters to us, and most importantly you matter to God. He has a divine purpose for your life, and we believe finding a tribe of people with similar DNA is one of the primary ways that you can walk in your God-given assignment on the earth. As we are launching out in faith and trusting God every step of the way, we want to invite you and your family to come and join us! We gather for our corporate worship experiences monthly to encounter the presence of God and offer six different House Fires to provide discipleship for all ages and ranges of life. We pray that you would consider coming to join us as we seek to see Jesus exalted, and His kingdom advanced in our city and throughout our region!

With Great Expectation,

OUR JOURNEY

Burn Culture is a vision that God has placed in our hearts and began cultivating in us February 14th, 2019. We began gathering young adults in our home and until COVID-19 broke out, we ran with the vision by hosting the presence of God in our living room, and building an atmosphere of family. We sought to create a safe place of shelter where young adults could come and be refreshed by the rain of God’s spirit. It was a raw, organic expression of hunger and worship to the Lord. It was the most satisfying, fulfilling expression of ministry that we had experienced up to that date.

We knew in our hearts as the Lord began to move powerfully 2 years ago that God would eventually take this small gathering of young adults and form it into a larger expression which is now called, Burn Culture.

The deeper we went in unity with one another the more God would manifest His presence (Psalm 133). It ruined us for church as usual, and we have been gripped with passion to create a wine-skin that embodies the blueprint for the ecclesia found in the book of Acts. We are not seeking to build another traditional church. We live to revive, awaken, empower, equip, and advance the kingdom. Burn Culture is a revival focused, family of believers that live for the presence of Jesus, and seek to bring transformation to the world around them.

Our Pastors

we value . . .

1.

Presence

This core value trumps every other value and is the primary reason our ministry exists. We want to be a presence centered people. A people who prioritize the presence and voice of Jesus in all things, and above all things. His presence is the hub of life, it is central to everything. Everything that we seek to be, cultivate, and pursue must come out of our lives being centered in and on His presence. We desire to be a family that bears His image. We are jealous to have our lives and everything around us marked by His presence.

2.

Divine
Family

This core value would be considered our 2nd most essential core value. The establishment of a people who walk in covenant with God and one another. We are seeking to cultivate supernatural unity by the Holy Spirit (Eph 4:3), knitting our lives together, thus creating a habitation for God by His Spirit (Eph 2:20). The Gospel must be more powerful than our preferences, therefore we need His spirit in us conquering all of the divides between us. Family is not just to satisfy our own broken desires. We must walk freely before God so that we can love another freely and fully.

3.

Kingdom

We are kingdom people, by way of declaration and demonstration. We want to preach the kingdom with our lips and have it on display in our lives. We preach Jesus, the cross, His blood, His resurrection, and ascension unashamedly. We believe in healing, deliverance, the gifts of the Spirit, and miracles (Matt 10:7-8). We want our preaching and teaching to be in harmony with the way that we are living.

4.

The Table of The Lord

We celebrate the table of the Lord and the communion meal that Jesus instituted. The table signifies what God has done for us, is doing in us, is doing between us, and will do for us. He is reconciling all things to and in Christ. We celebrate this meal in a family environment on a regular basis in order to deeply cultivate the power of it in our hearts and lives; for as often as you do this, do it in remembrance of Me (1 Cor 11:26)

5.

Generosity

We want to be a people who live out supernatural other-worldly generosity. This world is not our home, therefore our primary investing and anchor system is not in the material things of this life. We want to be entrusted with all things by way of having God do something in our own hearts to be free from all things. One of the marks of revival in the founding days of the church was generosity— for no man laid claim to his own possessions as if they were his own (Acts 4:32). We want to see our city and region shaken by a generous people.

6.

Hospitality

The opening up of our lives and homes in a beautiful broken way to host one another. Hospitality is important to the Lord. We are instructed to pursue hospitality (Rom 12:13). Hospitality is one of the qualifications mentioned by Paul in his writings to both Timothy and Titus (1 Tim 3:2, Titus 1:8). The writer of Hebrews also mentioned hospitality by way of hosting angels without knowledge (Heb 13:2). We want to surrender our lives one to another, and thus share intimate space together in real life.

7.

Prayer

To be a house of prayer for all nations (Isa 56:7). We are building God’s house in our city. We want to be a people who value and embody the place of prayer, individually and together as a corporate people. We are seeking to have our lives overtaken by what is in God’s heart and then be a people who will steward well His burden for our hearts, our homes, our city, our nation, and the nations of the earth.

8.

Diversity

We honor, welcome, and desire all expressions of the body of Christ. We intentionally place a demand on honoring different lanes and streams of ministry. Heaven consists of every tribe, tongue, and nation. Therefore we must reflect the culture of heaven by creating a colorful, diverse expression of God’s kingdom here on earth. This diverse family of people is the bride that Jesus is jealous for.
